West Coast University designed its RN to BSN program with the professional nurse in mind. With each course taught in a ten-week block, students are able to focus on fewer courses at one time. This program requires the completion of general education courses, nursing courses, and specialized health care occupation courses. Students are able to complete the RN to BSN program in approximately 20 months*.
The curriculum offers educational opportunities for the student to develop as a leader/manager by providing an environment that will aid in the development of self-discipline, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking. Professional education prepares the leaner to assume the responsibilities of a management person, and stimulates the desire for continued learning.
